Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, McDonald’s USA
As Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of McDonald’s USA, Tom Dillon leads the U.S. Finance organization supporting McDonald’s nearly 14,000 U.S. restaurants driving over $50B in annual sales. As CFO, Tom ensures the optimal allocation of resources to drive performance & long-term, sustainable growth for the company, McDonalds shareholders and franchisees. Under Tom’s leadership, the U.S. Finance team acts as strategic advisors to the business, leveraging insights and financial analysis to identify risks and opportunities and improve decision making across the business.
Tom is a member of the U.S. Senior Leadership Team, Global Finance Leadership and actively engages with franchisees through the National Franchisee Leadership Alliance (NFLA).
Prior to his current position, Tom was Vice President of Finance for McDonald’s International Owned Markets, and previously held a variety of positions including Senior Director of Global Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Controller for McDonald’s Australia, and Director of Finance in Asia, Pacific and Middle East and Africa. He was recognized for his achievements with the prestigious Presidents’ Award in 2013.
Before joining McDonald’s, Tom spent 10 years with Tellabs in the Financial Planning & Analysis organization, supporting the technology department for the global network provider.
He has a bachelor’s degree in business from Eastern Illinois and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from DePaul University. Tom lives in the Chicago area with his wife and three children.
